The product only contains ~0.3% clo2 gas dissolved in distilled water, there are no other chemicals in CDS

the product is a water disinfectant and is very pure.

The product is professionally made in the UK by SugarSwitch ltd. by a proprietary method.

As the product is contained in brown glass, the UV light is unable to break down the dissolved chlorine dioxide gas (CLO2) so the product unopened will have a long shelf life at least 6 months+, it will however start to evaporate out of solution when opened, the chlorine dioxide gas evaporates out of the water at temperatures above 11 degrees C so storing it in a fridge when using will help to maintain its strength and by using a smaller dropper bottle that gets refilled from the 500ml bottle this will help reduce losses due to repeated opening and closing of the 500ml bottle which is when the most losses occur 

Although the bottle's lid is closed tightly, the CLO2 gas still has the air pocket in the bottle to evaporate into which gets bigger and bigger with repeated use, so if you use a just little every day then use from smaller bottles like the dropper bottle or 100ml bottle 

If kept in a clear bottle the UV in daylight will breakdown the Clo2

Once opened we recommend keeping the bottle stored in the fridge, however if the CLO2 or diluted CLO2 is kept in a gas tight brown bottle then it can be used with minimal CLO2 loss for quite some time depending on the conditions

if the CDS has lost some colour use proportionally more for the same desired effect
